Road Freight NSW recognises the extraordinary achievements of women in business, transport, social, economic, cultural, environmental and political spheres on International Women’s Day.

Specifically, this #internationalwomensday, Road Freight NSW (RFNSW) acknowledges all of the amazing women working in the trucking, freight and logistics industries who work to #InspireInclusion in predominantly male industries every day. RFNSW has some inspirational female leaders who encourage #womens voices to be heard and for a diverse, equitable and inclusive world. Women are integral to making road transport work day in day out from driving a truck, working for or running a business or making decisions in the boardroom. Women are passionate about the trucking, freight and logistics industry and make a significant contribution.

You can read about some of the inspirational Road Freight NSW women in our newsletter celebrating IWD below:

From the truck cab to the boardroom

Women are an integral part of the transport and logistics industry at all levels. Road Freight NSW is highlighting some of our members to showcase the diverse roles women play.

“I see the women too as the backbone of our company. Without the unconditional Love & Support from the wives, our operators would not be as successful and happy as they are trucking all over Australia. As a woman I was not automatically welcomed into the industry, there have been challenges, but its a new age, more and more women are moving into transport.”
